Dry my soaked books ?

My car was flooded due to heavy thunderstorms a few dayss ago. All of the school books in my car were totalley soaked.

A few days later some of the thick books are still very wet.

What can I do to quickly dry these books without destroying the print ?

Leave them outside in the sun.

Expect resell value to drop though.

When that happened to me i put the book in front of a fan and opened the front cover so that as the fan blew the pages dry they would unstick and blow to the the next page.. worked very well.

I swear I heard that you should first freeze it, then dry it out.

Jeez, I heard this so long ago, I forget where.

good luck getting certain pages apart. Books that have water damage to that degree are completely useless and worthless.

Keep them open as much as possible so they don't mildew..

I too have heard freeze drying works for books.
