Drunk guy gets interviewed for a news story..

Something tells me he has some issues when he's sober, possibly has some kind of developmental disorder or prior brain damage. His balance is WAY better than it should be for the degree of speech impairment and disordered thought caused simply by intoxication. He NEVER stumbles, loses his balance, or sways off center.

Also, he moves his eyes to one side several times when he is having difficulty enunciating or producing the next word, which is something you often see in mentally retarded (or brain damaged) people when they're attempting to speak.

The speech patterns are really not classic for intoxicated persons who are otherwise not suffering from any other kind of speech, mental, or motor impairment.

News guy asked and he said he had been drinking. Perhaps what you say is also true.
