a friend of mine who is coming over to india this winter was asking me if i traces of weed/marijuana can get into his bloodstream if he has physical contact with someone on weed regularly??? i know this doesn't sound probable...but my guess is no...but still he wants to make sure before he returns to the U.S to sign up for his new job......I believe he has to take a drug test before accepting the offer...

btw, I'm not sure if this topic is at all allowed here....mods, if you think this is against the rules here you can go ahead and delete it

i believe if youre around someone who smokes pot a lot and you inhale the smoke itll show up or it can show up on a drug test.
 
Err..

The answer is no.. Not unless someone was purposly blowing the smoke his way, while he purposely inhaled.. And even then...

If he isn't even an occasional smoker of it himself, he has nothing to worry about.
 
If he is telling the truth, it is not possible.

Make sure and tell him that there are hundreds of schemes on how to mask drug use. None of them work.

If he does not us drugs, he has no problem passing a test.
 
Tell him not to eat any bagels or hard rolls with poppy seeds on them, he will fail if he does.
 
When they test for marijuana or thc in your urine, they look for by-product chemicals that are produced while processing the thc. The only way those chemicals can end up in your urine is if you got high off marijuana. If he has gotten high, they can be there for up to 2 weeks.
