But more seriously, the sooner it is legalized. The sooner that the money going to the criminal gangs in Mexico dries up...

Actually, the opposite will happen. Legalization would mean it can be grown domestically; U.S. has more than enough agricultural capacity to meet domestic demand.

we could completely dominate this market, hurry up and legalize, we'll start exporting..

Exactly this. Its just to damn easy to produce even on ones own. Hell, the president of Mexico thinks this is going to hurt his own cartels income.
