drowning in your own fluids?

so i'm watching cnn and there doing the bird flu panic thing and they said it kills people by drowning them in there own fluids. if someone is drowning like that couldn't you just hang them upside down?

The capillaries in your lungs explode from the overload of body fluids. It rushes in and fills your lungs. You suffocate.
