Drove friend's new BMW 330i w/ Performance Pkg Today!

I drove it through some twisities. VERY nice! But the schmuck bought it with a 5-speed auto instead of the 6-speed stick Highway ride is a little stiff too. But it's buttery-smooth. It's powerful. It likes to oversteer with the DSC turned off. He bought it with the premium sound system, silver-grey paint, and black leather. His lease? $550.00/month out here in the Bay Area.

FYI, for those who don't know, the Performance Package adds like 10hp, 19" wheels, different spoilers, etc.

you get 18" rims. (best looking stock bmw rims imo.) m trim, and a lip spoiler just like the one on the m3. you get 10 more horses, and 8? more lb/ft of torque. optional paint jobs only found in the "m" line. the m trim and the rims totally remake the car.

i like the 330i version better than the ci version. it's disappointing to see a high perf car mated to an auto. where' the love? stop blaming traffic and such, you lazy butts!!

overpriced. for that much $$$$$, i would get a G35 coupe. But that's just me.

Meh. You're talking about a guy who just received a $50K bonus at work and in 1-2 years will be making $250K/year when he's 26/27. Money is no object for him.
