The west is in serious trouble but most of the lower 48 states is on the verge and nearly EVERYONE is substantially drier than usual. (since this map was made it's gotten slightly worse especially in southern New England)

Maybe you can expose your 12-year old boy Asian body to the mold and it will die upon exposure?
As a proud mixed breed with no ill effects so far in my life, it'll take a lot to take me down.
I come from a family of brainy people. I have no worries about procreation even if alternative means are necessary.

Sperm bank, bud.
Uncle 1 on shit dad side is/was a prof at University of Chicago
Uncle 2 on shit dad side is/was an architect who lives/lived in Sacremento.
Shit dad did have a Ph.D and worked for the Census Bureau...but his ego got his ass fired because he didn't want to keep his skills up to date.
Dangerous half-sis who is about 20 years older than I am (in her fifties) went to Washington University of St. Louis.

How much do you plan to pay the surrogate-mother? 🙂

(sperm-banks are only half the equation)

I think for you the "build a monster" thing with the lightning going into the bolts on the neck might be a safer bet!

😉
Paying anything is better than having half-sis getting my estate.

Oh don't worry, when there is just family business to decide on(like earning potential)...I'm desirable and I know it.

Who doesn't want a to pop out a multi-talented intellectual of kid with outstanding physical endurance and the quick twitch gene(but no strength). 😉

Post 4 is nothing compared to a couple of months ago. Fully 2/3rds of the map was dark. The southwest is experiencing major flooding in areas that don't usually get much rain.

The rivers I've seen as getting worse were Colorado, Yangtze, Rhine, Po, Loire, and Danube. I see CA is paying $6/sq foot to rip up their lawns and replace them with drought resistant plants. I also see weather forecasts saying heat domes may be more common for parts of the US in the future.

Most of the water from the Colorado is still used to grow cattle feed in the desert so ripping up lawns at $6/sq ft seems kind of like a gimmick. Maybe we shouldn't grow asparagus and lettuce in Yuma and El Centro.

Water shortages in most of the UK. That's partly due to lack of investment in fixing pipes and building more reservoirs, because we idiotically privatised the system, allowing it to be used as a cash-cow.

Neo-liberalism really has been an abject failure. At some point, surely, that will be acknowledged?

It's a bit disheartening to see neighbors running their sprinklers in the daytime (well, anytime at all, really) and their lawns still look like crap.

So used to drought here. It's perpetual. We seem to vacillate between Extreme (the penultimate) and Exceptional (maximum). My lawn has never looked worse and that's a huge understatement. It's basically dead. There never used to be any weeds in it, now there are many little thirsty weeds.

I rob Peter to pay Paul to keep my vegetables growing.
