Dropping a k6-3+ 450 in a k6 laptop?

I wanna get this k6 laptop for cheap and put in a k6-3+ 450 cpu and take out the k6-2 that is in there already. Does anyone know if most k6 based laptops will support this?

Just as with running that CPU in a desktop system, it depends entirely on the motherboard, and most likely will require a BIOS update. I'd check with the manufacturer of the laptop and see what they have to say about supporting the K6-3+ CPU..
