Dropping $90 on my guitar

My electric is simply getting a MINOR setup and a string change.....free for me, plus cost of strings
my acoustic....well, needs some work, he's going to do a regular setup job...$70 plus strings

bridge adjustment, neck, truss=rod, a bit of intonation, and new strings. the action is a bit high over the 12th, and the intonation slowly goes out as you move up the neck.....it's hopefully going to sound and feel much better....i figure it's an investment

Nice prices. Pics of your guitars? Man, that reminds me of a dream I had last night. I was carrying my elctric around in the back seat of my truck sans case for some reason and the neck busted in half somehow. But in my dream it was a bolt on (it's actually a set neck) so I figured I was ok and the guitar wasn't a total loss. What an awful dream.

<envy> Nice Ric  </envy>

BTW, isn't $70 a lot to charge for a setup? I thought most places charged no more than $30-40.

i was under the impression 30 was the price for a string change + intonation, just REALLY basic stuff, honestly, this guitar(the acoustic) needs a BIT of work, but being only a 200 dollar guitar to begin with, if i put in 70, and make it play like a $300 guitar, then it's worth it
