Dropped my notebook....

yeah.. it fell in closed position with lcd side going towards the ground.. doesn't these hdd take like 300g or something when off ?
 
You can replace them. I dont have time to find my it now, but private message me and I will give you a link for a company that sells cheap OEM replacement kits.

When I bought my new Toshiba notebook, it was no question that I wanted the extended warranty and SystemGuard to cover accidental repairs. Got mine's covered for three years. Hope I never need to use it but it give me peace of mine in having it.
 
Wife put stuff on the book shelve for moving.. forgot to take it off.. moved book shelf, and it felled...

complete care, i think for 3 year is either 169 or 179.. forgot.. thats on top of their usual warranty...
 
Lucky you had the coverage or your wallet would be in a world of hurt😀. That small investment paid itself three or four fold.

and on a similiar note:
Maximum PC performed "three feet" drop tests on four different branded laptops.
3 of the 4 passed the test.

 
yeah.. i actually have two of the inspiron 6000.. the other one does NOT have complete care.. i almost had a heart attack.. thought it was the other one..
