Yea athletic shorts are a huge pain. I almost always take my wallet and phone out of my pocket when i sit down and place them on the table.

Yeah, nice catch. I missed that. The description said that it supports AT&T, but that must just be GSM. As you pointed out, in the specs it's missing 1900MHz. Bummer. Well, I'm not doing well in phone suggestions in this thread. First a Verizon phone, now one that doesn't work on AT&T 3G.
 
if its a short term thing I would just search ebay for a used nexus one. or a palm pre + if you wanna screw around with webos
