Dropped 45lb weight on my foot

OW

Edit: I immediately regret looking at that. I clicked on it right as I took the first bite into an english muffin.

How high did you drop it from? How did it do that much damage through shoes?

waist level, was loading up a bar on a rack, and shoes provide no support from that, it's
all about the angle of the plate coming down

hahaha..ooppss I mean that sucks.

actually you can laugh, I did, actually tried to go back to working out, till this girl
made me take off my shoes and socks and we both witnessed a bloody gore. I was
in so much pain driving to my job all I could do was laugh

At least you didn't drop it on your shin. A kid dropped a 35 on his shin in weight training class in hs... scraped it straight to bone about 2" long. Looks like it hurts like a sumbitch tho. 🙂

Not looking at the pics, but:

I just happen to take the picture there, not cleaining it up at my desk

yeah I am thinkin might have to see the doctor on this one

I think what made it worse is that I tried to catch the weight, missed, and ended up pushing it down harder that it was going

Picture of said girl?

My friend did this back in high school. His toenail fell off a few days later. He still has trouble with it today, years later, as it still has a tendency to fall off sometimes.
