Uploading 1.56gbs of video from my PC.

Wifi: 3 hours remaining

-_- (43 kb/s)

4G tethering: 48 minutes remaining

😵 (711.46 kb/s)

I have roadrunner. 🙁
This is with no one at home using the internet

(fastest speed ive gotten ever!)

This is my 4G tethering with Verizon

(could probably get higher speeds)

My uploads to dropbox suck, but then again, all of my uploads do. I have Time Warner, who won't sell me a package with more than 1M up.

Well there's your problem... 🙂

It's not Dropboxs fault your upload is almost as awful as mine.

Most residential Internet upload sucks. Pisses me off, some providers even offer 100mbps, yet the upload is still like 1mb, wtf? I would prefer having a 10/10 connection than a 100/1. ISPs should let you choose the ratio. Like sell 100mbps, but then you can balance it the way you want. Nobody can realisticly use 100mbps when the upload is only 1mbps. Just the ack packets alone will saturate it, if you're actually downloading enough to use 100mbps.

I usually don't mind since I download, convert, then it goes into dropbox.

45 minute TV show takes like an hour to upload. (Can't remember if 720p)
