Yessss! I was wondering when the next price drop would be. I'm guessing every 15 days now.

This is getting insane. 256MB of PC2100 DDR for $47.22 with free 2nd day shipping! I'm going to build a nice dual AMD MP setup when cheaper dual boards that support DDR come out. I would buy some of this, but I'm afraid it will get even cheaper!

Anyone know when the webpromo will end? And does anyone have any idea (more than just a guess) when these prices will stop going down? It's so tempting, but if it dropped this quickly I don't want to buy it and then see it $10 cheaper next week. Thanks.

Wow they keep getting lower and lower.

I might have to pop in another 256MB for a total of 768MB. :Q

I know how memory hungry Windows2000 is. :p

man, i also bought this ram for $59 about a week or so ago... im pretty happy with 512MB right now, but if it drops any further... all bets are off.. time for yet another upgrade... i guess 768MB wouldnt be too much overkill, ya think?

anyone know how long this webpromo deal will last? i didnt notice any promotion ending date anywhere.

I bought a stick last night at 1 am. It cost me $62.99. Now i check the web site and it's $53.09 for the same part number. I called customer service and tried to get a price adjustment and they totally refused. This is a little more than 12 hours ago. CRUCIAL service sux. I will never buy from them again. There was nothing they would do. What basterds. Buyers beware of price droppings and wait till absolute rock bottom prices.

Hey jfyeh, if Crucial raised prices and called you back 12 hours after you placed an order, would you give them more money to make up the difference? If not, shut up. You were willing to pay $62, you did pay $62, you got the the product you wanted. Case closed. Nobody owes you a lifetime of price protection, especially on a volatile component like RAM. If you're afraid that something you buy today will be less expensive tomorrow, don't buy it!

And to dc5505, yes on both counts. It overclocks nice and stable on my Iwill kk266 kt133A MB.

All i'm saying is that i'm pissed off at what happened and they should have done something if they value their customers. How would you feel if you went to a b&m store and you bought something from a salesperson then after you turned around sold the same product to someone else for cheaper how would you feel? And no i wouldn't pay the difference, crucial should have refunded me some of the moeny back on my card.

You are contradicting yourself. You say that you wouldn't pay the differnce but you expect them to. If you are so hard up for 9 bucks .. RMA the ram and order it again. Cheap Skate !!!
