*droool* '05 Mustang..

Those retro gauges suck. When will this retro-version-as-our-great-new-fantastic-car phase end??

I am SO glad that the stupid Chevy pickup truck thing with the retractable roof is selling like trash, since it's hideous!

That is a mockup one though isn't it. I think they chickened out in the styling department. Some of the first prototypes I saw had no sailfin window but I see productions do and I think it looks like ass. They should have made functional side scoops for the rear brakes also.

Yeah, the gauges are one "retro" touch I think they've taken too far.

That said, I think this car is a great combination of modern and retro design, and I don't think there's been a more appealing muscle car in literally 30 years. It definitely gets a big  from me.

The Chevy SSR is indeed a heap IMO. GM has to be about the most clueless carmaker in the world . . .

wow that interior looks very shoddy and cheap.
My first thought as well.

I was in Hawaii recently and there were tons of '03 Mustangs around as rentals. I've never been in one so I peeked in a parked Mustang... cheap plastic. Ugh. Even cheap Hondas have better looking dashes/radios.

Yeah, another Mustang you too can be cool like the other 100K+ sheep that will own a '05.

Lack of exclusivity kills this car.

GTO  would be my pick

Test drove one last night. V6 Automatic model (only one the dealership had), handled like a dream. Found it much more comfy then the 94-'04 models for botht he passenger and driver. Biggest problem to me is the side windows are smaller then before, and no good place to put your arm because the window ledge is too high, and the door arm rest areas too low.

I will have a '05 someday, after the winter probably

I was joyrider my sisters '03 Mustang all day,

hate the retro styling. The powertrain and chassis are pretty interesting, but damn, I refuse to buy some fad retromobile.
