Dromo1 go-kart center in Orange, CA questions...

Has anyone been here? How are the karts and the track. Are they kiddy speedzone karts? is the track wide enough for passing or is just like speedzone where people just follow a train... reason im asking is that my ex and her new BF invited me and a couple of our friends for a track day. my ex knows me as a car/racing freak and well it would be pretty damn embarassing if i place lower than them. 😱 problem is they've been here at least three times and this will be my first time coming here and i havent learned the track...

here's the website by the way... dromo1.com

my friend went, he said it's great fun, and it's pretty real, but it's way too short for the amount of $$$ you pay ^_^

Well im looking this up... which shows what kinda freak i am but... my ex said it was 19 laps for $20... which lasts for about 10-15 minutes... hmmm... lap record is around 22 seconds... i guess its worth it to some... but hey it includes...suit...balaclava... and helmet... which is pretty sick...considering how many people have worn those helmets... hahaha.

its a really short track, id say it lasts around 15 min racing, because its about 20 laps, but you spend 5 of those laps determining placing. ive been there a few times, its fun, but its a lot of $$$ 😀
