don't go any faster than speed limit +7.
stay out the blindspot of anything bigger than me
usually stay in rightmost lane on highway.
when i change in traffic i do it with the gas to the floor, that way if i do somehow miss seeing somebody in my blindspot it would be impossible for me to hit them.

Never ride in the left lane, ONLY to pass. If i'm on a highway and someone is in the left lane going slow I will flash my brights once or twice. If they don't move, I get on the horn. If they still don't move I'll pass on the right while giving them the finger.

Becareful with that, I got a ticket once for flashing my brights in that situation, cop said it was 'improper use of high beams'

"Sorry Officer, I was attempting to signal a lane change when I sneezed, inadvertently activating my highbeams."

Stop at red lights, usually.

That is about it for Chicago.
But only stale red lights. Fresh red lights are fair game.

I start braking when I see brake lights on the car in front of the car in front of me.

If you ride in my car, you are wearing your seatbelt.

If there is construction causing lanes of traffic to merge ahead and people continue to fly up in the closed lane to cut in front of other people, I will move into the closing lane and hold my position relative to the other lane.

1. never stay in the left lane except to pass
2. if you are being passed on the right, you are in the wrong lane
3. never try to merge in front of a pickup truck, htey will always speed up and try to hit you because they are insecure and don't like anyone driving faster than them.

If I am passing a car or transport in the left lane, I am not moving over until I pass because, well, I'll die if I try to do otherwise because there is other traffic!

ooo. to add to that:

If you ever visit or live in Phoenix, do not go out driving when it's raining. It's very rare to get rain here and most of the people here are completely clueless as to how to drive in rain.
