How about when you're the only car going down a road doing 55 or 65, and a car pulls out in front of you, forcing you to hit the brakes?

Classics.

I like to time lights to save fuel, brakes, effort, and time (i.e. do not have to stop and start). I do not care for morans who hurry to stop at a light -either riding my arse like a demon car from bad movie or worse overtaking and then essentially blocking the road. I do love cruising by those who hurried to pass me and stop in another lane though.

Yeah I drive on country roads a lot and this happens all the time. I don't mind if someone can't wait 5 more seconds and pulls out in front of me from a side road, but if you're going to do it, you darn well better drive at the speed I was driving at.

It's the same thing with people who speed up to dive in front of you on multi lane road. Fine, if you want to drive like crazy and hop in front of me, at least continue to drive like crazy and not hold me up once you do get in front of me!

I don't know where you live, but most onramps around here are.
heck, I've hit upwards of 90mph before I even have to begin looking for a spot to merge before, and my car only has 190ish hp.

I can forgive someone if their car is an absolute POS, but i know most of the cars that are guilty of this have more than adquate power. (I've seen C6 vettes guilty of this)

The worst are the ones that just maintain 45 mph throughout the entire onramp, I was stuck behind one of those a few days ago. The structure of the ramp was a long sweeping banked 90 degree curve that could've easily been taken at highway speeds followed by a long acceleration lane merging onto the rightmost lane of the freeway. The person in front of me entered the curve at 40ish mph, maintained 40ish mph throughout the turn, and maintained 40ish throughout the entire acceleration lane.

I have to say, that is probably the single most annoying and infuriating driving-related thing I have ever experienced.

I really hate people who change lanes for no reason.

I'll be driving in the left lane and someone will be up in front of me in the right lane. They just change into the left lane for no reason. No one in front of them. No left turns coming up they need to move over for. No anything.

Just makes me have to change lanes to go by them

I could go on with all my driving rants, but I'll save it for later.

this happened to me twice yesterday driving north to cottonwood. there was a house on wheels being delivered, but the guys were way over to the right so they werent in the way. idiot in front of me slowed from 77mph to 40mph instantly, because he seemed afraid to go past the rolling house. i had to slam on the brakes as much as he did to keep from hitting him. the 2nd guy was passing a semi that was doing about 68, i was doing about 70 or a couple over. as soon as i got close to him, he jacked on the brakes and paced the semi instead of passing it. after me riding his ass for a bit he started gesturing and motioning me to back off, and kept holding up 6 and then 5 fingers. like he needed to remind me that the limit was 65 or something. so, after a couple times of him doing that, i pointed to the side of the road as in "you get over, idiot, youre in the passing lane and not passing!" but he did the 6-5 thing again, so i flipped him off, smiled and got right on his ass. he sped up, got over to the right and started flashing his brights at me until i was more than a mile ahead of him lol. he used the same exit as me, tried to stare me down, but turned after i smiled and flipped him off again. he didnt seem to want to pull over and chat when i started pulling over to the side.

I have bitched about driving forever and it does me no good.

I have come to the conclusion that I hate all other driver but myself.
I cannot change them no matter how aggressively I drive, so I might as well calm down and imagine them all as my grandma.

Not being terribly bright are you? I know a few folks who would make a point of running you off the road and separating you from your offending digit for that type of behavior. I'm not saying it's right or defending them but, it could happen.

I'm probably guilty of this, only by habit of seeing my mom do it all the time.

1 thing I hate the most is drivers who are in the left lane the whole time coming up to a red light, then they decide to go in the right lane (at the last second) and go straight, even though there's a whole line of cars behind him/her that wants to turn right.

I drive with 2 labs in the car when I visit my parents who live 15 miles away.

Should I run that distance to my parents house instead?

Another vote for someone pulling out in front of you, and then going slower than the speed limit. I want to stab people who do this.

The obvious answer is to tether them to a little red wagon and have them pull you there.

My biggest annoyance out here are people who don't pull their vehicles entirely into the turn lanes. Sure, leave the ass-end of your Suburban in my lane while you wait for your little green turn arrow. Now I have to swerve around it, just because you're too lazy and/or incompetent to completely enter the turn lane.

People that pay attention only to the car directly in front of them, but not the overall situation.

I was first in line for a left turn at a four-way intersection. The array was glitching, and it was only hitting our light to allow left turns once out of four cycles. The guy behind me was getting agitated, but there was never an opportunity to slip through due to the design of the intersection and the malfunctioning light.

well a C6 vett doing it may be a bit much, however i drive a 88 volvo 240 wagon and well its not world renowned for its massive acceleration :/

they could try, just like any other. ive been told by people they would run me off the road if they saw me on my bike, and they didnt succeed. i tried to pull over to talk to him, he didnt agree with that idea. i also can handle myself, and carry a gun. i wouldnt even had pulled it if he didnt have one, so you dont have to worry about me spraying unsuspecting motorists with lead or anything. the chances of your friends being able to separate me from my digit are pretty slim, so i think ill take my chances.

as for the not terribly bright comment, i think being in a compact car and slamming on your brakes in front of a full size truck at high rate of speed just to remind someone of the speed limit is downright idiotic. if thats how you roll, youll probably meet someone that doesnt stop eventually.
