Driveway stains

I was an idiot and let some power steering leaks stain into my driveway, so now I have spots in various locations of power steering stains. It is an asphalt driveway, and the stains have been there for months. With the lack of rain we've been having, none of it has been washed away.

I've got the power steering leak fixed, and now want to get rid of the stains. I've read Tide detergent works if used right away, same with kitty litter. Can these be used months later? Would a power washer help? Or should I just seal over them?

I used powdered laundry detergent for oil stains on a concrete driveway and it definitely helped.
