I was getting out of my car after parking today and this girl comes up to me and complains that I'm taking up two spots. Didn't look like it to me, but I moved up to be exactly even with this "Driveway No Parking" sign ahead of me just to humor her. Getting out again, she complains that I should move up to the actual driveway itself which is a bit further. Who is right here? She didn't have a car, by the way, she was just hanging out with a friend nearby talking beforehand.

I've never seen one of these signs... was it an "official" sign put there by the DOT, or was it just a sign someone put up? You don't need a sign to tell you not to park in front of a driveway...

On the way to my mother-in-law's house someone put a "No U-Turn" sign up in front of their driveway. They care so much about people pulling a few feet into their driveway to turn around that they put an ugly sign up. It wasn't in a location that would make it particularly prone to having people make U-turns in their driveway either. No doubt if they needed to make a U-turn, they wouldn't hesitate to use someone else's driveway though. Assholes.

You shouldn't pull right up to the edge of the driveway as you could be blocking a person's view that would be backing out and you would risk getting your car hit by a person going into/out of the driveway. IIRC, as far as blocking driveways goes, you have to give a foot or two next to the driveway entrance as well.
