If you hit the curb when you parallel park, all is not lost. As long as you can still recover fine, it won't hurt you too bad.

I just took mine last week. 🙂

When you get to a stop sign, stop, count a second (one one thousand), then go. Then you can make sure you made a completely complete stop.

When I took mine they gave me the biggest freakin spot to parrell park! I could have parked a Semi in there 😛

Funny thing was I kinda knew the womans son, so she pretty much wanted me to talk about her son.

Got points taken off for 2 things
a)no blinkers in the parking section
b)When i took a left, i went straight into the right lane, and not into the left lane then right lane.

I still passed with an 86, so I didnt care. Scary thing was having to drive through the ghetto, hate doing that

I recently took a driver's test and he said the two places people mess up most is forgeting to check blind spots everytime and rolling stop signs by not coming to a complete and total stop.

1. Use more than the mirrors, look over your shoulders. That will help eliminated the blind spots while changing lanes.

2. Do NOT stop on the crosswalks. In my state that is instant fail. Not sure about your state though.

3. Beware of trick situations the instructor might put you in. For instance, on a one way street you might be in the middle lane then he/she will tell you to make a left or right turn at the next intersection. Make sure you are in the correct lanes i.e. far left or far right.

4. When making turns dont just look left and right once and go. Look left and right as you proceed into the turn.

Alright so to be clear, I should chec kmy blindspots when:

-Pulling out of a parking space or away from a curb
-Changing lanes

Don't talk to the tester, they may consider talking a driving distraction. Hands at 9 and 3, you know the drill. Always adjust your mirrors when they're in the car, so they know you're taking the proper steps. Jesus Christ don't forget to check your blind spots, even if for some reason you know there's nothing there. Don't run ther amber light, even if you're just coasting through.

😕 9and 3? I was always taught 10 and 2. I dunno.

Yeah, it is 9 and 3.

Well thanks for all of your help guys, I'm off to get some rest for the test tomorrow, wish me luck.

It has been said, but it is the complete stops that are about the number 1 for failing. You MUST make sure to stop completely, look, and then proceed. Count 3 even if it is clear will get you through that.

Either one works, I suppose. I mean, you could go as far as using you knee to steer, much like my dad does, but I think they'd fail you for that.

I see. Fvck. I get nervous around cops...and NO, ITS NOT BECAUSE I'VE BEEN IN TROUBLE WITH THE LAW.

Don't overanalyze the test. You'll find it pretty easy. The hardest thing I can remember is backing up 2ft from the curb. I didn't even have to parallel park.
