Drivers or Bios

My problem is that when I use the 66.93's, after enabling SLI mode, upon a cold reboot the desktop comes up and then it detects my secondary card and then goes blank. I have to reset the computer just to get it back. With the 71.24's, after enabling SLI mode, and another cold reboot, SLI mode disables and I have to reset again. I have the EZ card set for dual, and SLI mode in the bios set to SLI. All in all, I can get SLI mode but only if I don't shut down the computer without the 5v going to the board. So it may be a small problem, but it is irritating. I never installed the cards seperately when I built this system. I just did everything all at once. I am going to try those 67.03's and hopefully I can fix this. Any suggestions would be great.

Well, since nobody else is replying I'm gonna suggest that it's probably the drivers because, as far as I can remember, nvidia always had buggy drivers. But, I know a lot of ppl had problems with the a8n motherboard, so I would look around the forums for issues related to your mobo, which by the way is also using a nvidia chipset, and who knows, maybe they have bugs in there too 😛

Thanks for the reply, I have posted on a dozen or so forums already and you are the only one to reply. Anyway, Yeah, it's got to be the drivers, because it's like windows forgets that when i cold boot, that I have two cards. As long as I don't shut the computer off completely, my SLI settings are fine. I also checked my IRQ resources, and the secondary card was sharing an IRQ with my Audigy 2 card. So, I put the Audigy card in another slot, but that didn't work. Hey, as long as I don't have reboot my computer and then make adjustments after I just turned it on. That would be ridiculous. Thanks for your help.
