Hehe, exact same thing happened near Don Mills and Sheppard a few weeks ago with an elderly driver. They must lose sensitivity in their feet as they age because I think after 0.1 seconds I'd realize I was on the gas and not the brake!

Here in South Florida, DOT has made it convenient for anyone wishing to dive just swerve right and there you are! It is now almost a daily occurrance or nightly. This woman/girl fell asleep at the wheel, went into a canal. She wakes up and calls 911 on her cell phone. She drowns.

Didn't she have alchohol in her system, though? I remember the 911 operator got a lot of flak for not telling her how to get out of the car.
