Drivers for CPU

Didn't know if you needed to update drivers for CPU. I have a A64 3400+ does anyone know if the 4/1/2004. Is there any newer ones?

You might see an update for AMD processors on Windows Update, but it's only for AMD's naming conventions. Otherwise, the CPU doesn't require a driver.

The newest A64 cpu driver I could find was May 2004

A64 cpus do require a driver,you need it for cool & quiet to work properly.
