They probably offer the same material. But just to be safe, read the california driver's manual after you take the course since that's where all the questions are based off of. I only read that pamphlet once and I passed on my first try. The written test is a piece of cake.

^ really helps a lot. I saw about 5 of those questions on the practice test used on the actual test ^_^

Not sure if it's like this in other states, but in California if you're under 18 you need to take driver's ed, 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction, and wait 6 months until you get your driver's license.
