Driver wise, what is the best Video-In device/Sound card for Windows Xp?

I am looking into a new Sound card and a Video-In device. I'm using Windows XP and want to make sure that I will get some cards with drivers actually supported by XP. Right now, I've got an MX300, and it's having massive problems w/ XP (gurgling mp3s and sound cutting out) and I'm hoping to avoid those in the future with a different card. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thx - Adam.
p.s. - i got a 440bx board running a p3 750 if that helps any

Version 3.02 on their support site list XP,
this is the Hercules Game Theater XP.

I like the external box on that setup. I'm thinking about getting one myself,
but I'm travelling this week, so I'll have to wait. See www.tomshardware.com
in the Audio/Video section for stuff, or www.3dsourndsurge.com.

As for video, that's a wide open question depending on your needs.
I have a dual-head Matrox G450 16MB I think running under XP right
now, and it is definitely going into infinite loop blue-screen sometimes.
I think the Matrox TV setup is great if you are not gaming. If you are
gaming, I suggest NVIDIA. Nobody does better drivers.

So one of the Geforce2 or Geforce3 cards with video capture.
The ASUS Deluxe models seem to have that.
