Driver file question

Under Computer Management in the admin tools, system info/software environment/drivers folder it lists drivers and where the files are stored. I noticed some are preceded with \??\ like \??\c:\winnt\system32\drivers\xxxx.sys. What do the question marks mean exactly? Is this a problem with the driver file itself and where it is stored? Most of them are fine, but I see about 10 like this.

Anyone have any idea?

It's not a problem, that's just one of Microsoft's f'd up device naming schemes.
