Driver data base

I think you should add a driver data base. Like WINDRIVERS, since they went pay for view adding a data base to the premium would be a big plus. A lot more people would sign on.

That's a nice idea but I don't think it's really worth the effort and time for people to scrounge up every driver for every piece of hardware and then have to find storage space for all those drivers.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I don't think anandtech has the resources to host it either, and you know how often things change on the web, so we'd have many outdated links to drivers and the like, so I just don't think it'll happen...

Good idea though!

Would be a great resource, this is true. Maybe a partnership between Anand and the Windrivers site. That way, a link from Anandtech could bypass the paysite and/or the subscribers here could have access.

Now that's an interesting idea Hossenfeffer. 😉

I've helped in putting together driver sites in the past and believe me its definitely not as easy as it sounds, even using bots to try and keep up with the updates, to say nothing of determining which O/S(s) you concentrate on supporting. So I doubt AT will host it's own database, but a partnership might work out.

We shall see..
