In general, I don't understand why people get so butt-hurt about getting a little wet.

Bought mine on eBay [10/14.00 USD] shipping was free.
I use two in my truck, one facing front and one back
I give them away as gifts and so far I have bought approx 12.

Spend good money on the memory card [32GB] avoid over seas suppliers as they're hacked cards.
Always check the features such as night vision, sleep mode. recording
size, etc.

32gb? i guess you record at 480p? what you want to shop for is something that you can actually read license plates at night time. the toy one you show is good for a few situations but not all of them. i purchased a lot of diff dash camera's i think a decent one (for the money) now is the A119S at 120, oh wait the A129 little more than 150$ dual camera GPS discreet 1080fps (this is the camera to get right now if you have a budget) I didn't know this was illegal, but it does look reckless to swerve to hit puddles.

we also get drivers doing this in the winter when slush builds up in the curb lane. Parking lots are the worst for that. Water is one thing but salty, dirty snow is just awful.

In general, I don't understand why people get so butt-hurt about getting a little wet. I swear people drive around in parking lots for 30 minutes just to find a semi-close spot - because god forbid they get a little wet from the rain.... They might melt afterall.

So you're fine with spending the rest of your day drenched in cold water? Not everyone who is walking is in a position to go home and change. They might be on their way to work, or an important meeting, or interview etc. It's not about "melting" it's about being extremely uncomfortable until you can get changed. All that because of some asshole.

I remember being around 10 walking home with a buddy from religious instruction class in the winter. We were walking in the snow banks right next to the road and some jackass in a truck blasted us with all that freezing slush.

Good thing our houses were only a couple of miles away.

Keep in mind that flying through a deep puddle like that can easily cause a vehicle to hydroplane, if he loses control and fishtails he takes someone out, totally. Glad he got canned for being a douche.
