I see several questions like this, but I'm not sure if any of them is exactly the same.

Setup:
ASUS A8V MoBo
2 SATA HD's
1 DVD-RW
1 DVD-ROM Combo

Can I put the two DVD's on the Secondary IDE and leave the Primary IDE blank?
Was planning on putting the DVD-RW as Master on the secondary, and the DVD-ROM as Slave on the secondary. With the two SATA HD's on the two SATA connectors.

Should I be anticipating any boot confusion as to which drive it should be booting from?

It's been forever since I put together a computer. And I've never dealt with the SATA drives before.
Any help, suggestions, or information would be appreciated. Thanks.

 
Once you set hard drive as your first boot device in BIOS, you will be able to select which of the drives you want the system to boot from.
