Drive Rails for my Cooler Master Case

I just assumed a drive rail is a drive rail, but doing some investigation I see I'm incorrect. I have a Cooler Master Ammo case and am short on Drive Rails. Where would be my best bet to buy some? I froogled and only see ones for Antec and some Dell cases. Or am I wrong about being off the Antec Rails would work?

Drive rails for a CM case? - Hmmmm, that's a hard one... Maybe CoolerMaster? ;) You should have gotten six with the case.

Dozens of companies sell basically the same case with different external cosmetics. You could try any of them.

I emailed coolermaster no response yet. I got 6 but I have 4 HD's so 6 isn't even enough for my HD's, and I have an optical drive and a fan controller that could use them :)

I hope CoolerMaster doesn't want to charge an arm and a leg for them.

The Ammo has only 3xHDD bays that use rails (the sidesaddle ones), so six rails is exactly right. The fourth HDD bay is under the floppy bay and you lock the drive in with the toolless lock and/or use screws. If you want to add more HDDs than 4, you will need some 5" bay adapters like these. Your other drives (opticals, etc) and the HDD in the 5" bay adapter will use the toolless drive locks and/or screws - no rails needed or supplied. This is beginning to read like a trick post - or did you get most of your post count from the time-wasting sections (N/P, O-T, etc.)?

Here is a link to the Ammo manual (probably a useless waste of time like most CM manuals, but there it is): http://www.coolermaster.com/up...anual_%5BRC-533%5D.pdf in case you didn't get one.

actually I don't have my components in the case, good call Zepper I didn't even pay attention to the tooless locks :( guess I can toss everything in it with no problems, maybe next time I should actually check out the case before I search for parts I don't need

I got the Cooler Master Ammo from a friend, and he only had enough rails for one HDD, which was fine at the time. However, I have 2 more HDDs I just got, and I'd like to be able to put those in, too.

Apparently I can use the one 3.5" bay for one, and I guess I can buy one or two of those 5.25" to 3.5" brackets.

But, these simple little rails don't exist somewhere on the internet? They're so small and presumably cheap...

If anyone knows now (a year later!) if these rails are anywhere around on the internets...It'd be much appreciated!

I can take a picture of them when I get home if necessary.

As was suggested above, you should be able to get some from any of the dozen or more companies that OEM that same chassis (but if you want em in matching color, then CM is your best bet). It may cost you a small amount or maybe not if you have good "social engineering" skillz. If you have a Mom & Pop computer store in your area, they might have some in their parts collection.
