I'm working on a computer that has Windows 98, and both of the CD drives aren't being recognized. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Check the jumpers, power cables, and ribbon cables to make sure they're all configured/connected properly.

Are both drives on the same IDE channel? Could be a cable gone bad.

Have you tried the drives in another computer to confirm that they do function properly?

Yeah. It's probably that you didn't connect the jumpers wrong. Set one as Master and other as Slave.
