Drive Image question

Senior member
Hi all,
I would like to make an image of my laptop's drive. It is connected to my home network. How can I have the image copy over to my desktop machine? I don't see the other computer available within DI and don't see how I can get to Network Neighbourhood.
Thanks for any help.

That would take some work to get that setup. I have a bootdisk that uses dos drivers, etc. that lets me access my server here at work across the network. Do you have enough space to make an image of your drive locally, then boot into windows and copy it over manually??? I forget if Drive Image will let you do that......

No it won't let you copy onto the partition it is copying. I don't think I have enough space to create one for that purpose.

If you have norton ghost, it comes with nic drivers for dos, and can easily save to other machines on the network.
