Ha ha...imagine having *this* on your bar tab:

His bill, which totaled 42,608 pounds including a tip of 4,734 pounds, covered 49 bottles of Cristal Rose champagne at 325 pounds a bottle, 40 bottles of Cristal champagne at 250 pounds each and 20 bottles of Dom Perignon at 225 pounds a time.

Puahahaha...swell guy though. It appears that he's a fruit importer

Probably in the US, where all the rich folk hold onto their money till they die. I'm not surprised it was a European who pulled this stunt, but to have anything like that happen in North America(by anyone other than a drug dealer or billionaire on his deathbead) would be one in a million odds.
 
$75 for a drink?!? It better have been good...>>

It was but a real screw job. A 21 or 25 year old Scotch on the rocks but the entire Fifth was only about $225. Everybody is entitled to some profit but this went too far. Argued with the Manager then the Owner but to no avail. I paid but never went there again.

That is seriously tight as hell....I'll have to pull that off when I'm a millionaire lol...yea when that happens.
 
Yeah i go to parties like that all the time.... Just replace Cristal Rose champagne with sparkling water, Cristal champagne with Natty Light, and Dom Perignon with Bud Light. Oh and replace 42,608 pounds with 200 dollars for the cost of 4 kegs 😉 Now those are my kinda parties 😀

He really does seem like a nice guy...I think he might just have gotten carried away...in no small part owing to the effects of liquor
