Drinks are too expensive at bars

Unlesss its dollar drink nite, too much. I got tired of paying - so last night I went and bought some Bacardi Razz and 7up, did some strong mixes, then went back in the club. Much cheaper

you gotta think you're paying the bartender's wage as well as for those crappy peanuts/pretzels no one ever eats. And for the cable to watch varios sports events. etc etc.

the only problem with getting hammered before going to a bar is getting to the bar. While bar tabs are annoying, cabs are expensive too, and driving drunk is just plain stupid.

i preparty, take a cab there, get loaded again, and then take a cab back (going clubbing)

somehow even after consuming massive amounts of alcohol at home i still manage to spend like 60 bucks on drinks @the bar

I always thought it's stupid to buy an arseload of drinks at the bar. It gets ridiculously expensive. If you're going to get sh!tfaced, do a lot of it beforehand. I guess it'd be a problem getting to and from the bar if you live far away. That's why you should always have a DD.

I dunno - the palce I was at last night wasn't that bad. Liek 8 bucks for a buttery nipple, and antoher 8 for some jager and coke. Not much I suppose, but I just bought a bottle fo barcardi Razz for 14 bucks, mixed/chuged some, and was happy

In theory it should be cheaper to preparty+cab, however if I'm bombed at the bar and its early we usually start buying rounds of shots. So it actually works out cheaper if I dont drink before.

In theory it should be cheaper to preparty+cab, however if I'm bombed at the bar and its early we usually start buying rounds of shots. So it actually works out cheaper if I dont drink before.

lol that's your fault then

i preparty before hand (usually Mr. H or Crown or some goose + redbull), and then when i get to the club or whatever I go straight for the bar, get an Adios, maybe another adios in half an hour, and then mebbe an alize on the rocks to top off the night.

then i go home pass out and wonder WTF i was thinking the night before

Yeah it is good to go and socialize every once and a while, but man the bar is an expensive place to hang out. I end up going up to my brothers when I want someone to drink with. I live in rural VA, so if I was in the city I expect to have friends that I could go hang out with. The last time I had a beer out it was over $2.00 For the price of a few of those I can get a case and drink till my hearts content. The only thing is I don't like drinking alone, but I do sometimes.
