lol, wtf? wouldn't the water that goes in the bottle ruin the taste of the beer? and where do you rest the bottle while you are in the shower, if you have a door that is. i'm guessing you use those shower heads with the bendy pipes, and note the static shower head drilled into the wall.

Well, think of it like drinking beer in the rain. I, for one, am not going to let a few pissant drop of water falling from the air take away the pleasure that comes from me and my beer. If it's that important to you, cover the top until it nears your maw.

As for the question as to where you put the it...well, you could put it on a shelf by the shampoo, or you could reach your hand around the corner of the shower and make some sort of oragami turban out of the bath towel, orrrrr...you could quit being a pussy and just drink the beer.

beer should never be drank in the shower. too much wetness going on all at once.

sorta OT, but your post reminded me of a great story.

I went to New Orleans for the week of Mardis Gras my junior year of college. our first night there, me and a bunch of my friends were on Bourbon Street, drinking and having a good time, and out of nowhere comes this massive torrential downpour. we were soaked to the bone within seconds, but all the while, our number one priority was preventing any of the rain from getting into our drinks until we found some shelter 😀
 
That was great back in the dorms. Get a bucket, throw some ice + 3 or 4 beers in it, place just outside the shower, and then sit back in the corner and enjoy the limitless hot water.

Of course, this plan only works if you have a private bathroom... if you had a communal shower for the floor, it would end badly.

I just did it. I went for two beers. Well, actually one during the act and another while I got dress immediately afterwards. My thoughts are racing from the experience, and I have decided to undam my heart and let the emotion flow. The following is two haikus. The lines should be read alternately. The two themes will mingle, and great joy will be had by all:

Drinking beer is cool.
(The shower is hot.)
I'll prolly do it again.
(Refreshing, cleansing, wetting.)
God I fscking rock!
(Now I'm drunk and clean.)

The words take my breath, and bring a tear to my eye. Thank you.

when i was in college we would do that... Usually when we were getting ready to go out for the night and were trying to get a little pregaming going on.

But i'd never think "i think i'm gonna go jump in teh shower and grab a beer just for the hell of it." or anything like that -- only if was getting a head start on getting drunk that night.
 
i do this all the time when im getting ready to go out. used to do it in college when i would get home from work when the party already started to "catch up"
 
A long while back in my teenage years I worked in a factory where everything was covered in oil. When I came home I'd shower and drink a beer.

It works best the dirtier you are.

I'd imagine it would get full of water and turn into american beer 🙁
 
During spring break in panama city. Yup, beer in the shower, and a joint while on the can. Saves time, and is rather enjoying.

Thanks to this thread (for reminding me), I'm going to go drink a 22oz bottle of Arrogant Bastard and soak in the tub now. Or maybe a Stone Imperial Russian Stout. Or a Stone Ruination IPA, Double Bastard, Smoked Porter, Old Guardian, Vertical Epic, IPA... I've got one of about everything they make right now to choose from 😀
