What's the MOST you ever spent on a bottle of... :wine: or other liquor?

Not wine, but Remy Martin XO... about $300 CDN a bottle back then (about $200 USD). Got them in a bar/karaoke place, so i'm not too sure how much they would go in a liquor store... but we use to blow over a $1k worth a night... and this was when we were 16! Probably why we were even served, since they made a killing off us.

Who said anything about justifying my age? I thought i would share a little more than just the name of the bottle and price, but also why and when.
 
I think the most is about $40-50 at a nice restaurant. I've spent more on a bottle of liquor though. I had a serving of Remy Martin Extra Cognac a few months ago at a nice restaurant after dinner that cost me $35 a glass.
 
Lifetime, about $5 million or so. I think I'd be retired by now if I didn't drink so much in my late teens and early 20's.

On a single bottle, I bought my girlfriend a bottle of Dom Perignon for graduation from college. With 2 crystal flutes it was close to $400, so figure around $350 for the bottle itself.
 
I got a perrier jouet gift set for my birthday. One bottle and four glasses, all hand painted in enamel. Cost about $260.00

I used to be a club manager for the Sheraton Hotel. I used to bring home bottles of cristal Champagne whenever no one was looking. They were going for $225.00 a bottle at the time.

but the most I ever actually spent... hmmm.. not sure.. I dont remember what the gallon of Absolute cost.

edit: we spend a lot going out for cocktails. we dont normally drink at home. We find each other too boring for that.

Of course, they opened the VIP for us and hand picked chicks out of the line outside for us to dance with, but then the cops came...
