I have an old Golf Decanter from '74 with Jim Beam whiskey in it that's still sealed. The cork is broken off and is flush w/ the top. Wonder if it's still good ;)

Thinking about taking a small lag bolt, screwing it into the cork and try to remove it.

They're fine ... since they've been stored cold they most likely even taste fresh.

The worst I could imagine is that they'd taste bad. I don't think there'd be any health risk drinking them.

Or maybe a corkscrew?

It's just about impossible for commercially packed beer to go bad as in food poisoning bad. A jillion to one.

If it goes bad, it just won't taste and smell as good. Take a whiff when you open em.

And those beer expiration dates are way early. You could probably drink em next March.

Don't want to hurt the fragile China with a corksrew ;) A pair of vise grips and a lag bolt will work better

i had a case of heinekin sit in my car for a few hot sunny days and that was the worst beer i'd ever drank. i would think that as long as the beer has been kept cool, it would be fine to drink.

Doesn't matter if its fresh out of the brewery, its Corona, it's gonna taste bad.

Drink up. You won't taste any difference and there's nothing wrong with the beer.
