Drew Peterson arrested in 3rd wife?s death

They better have some REALLY good evidance after this much time. That and they ruled her death a accident first and now this.

That is a lot of doubt to get over to the guilty field.

Is this the guy who's other two wives also died in freak "accidents"?

Yep, that's him. His current wife has been "missing" for a while now. He is obviously a repeat killer its just getting the evidence to convict him.

Wasn't there another guy named Peterson who killed his wife that got convicted and went to jail? What's with the name Peterson? Does that mean wife murderer in Dutch? Geez!

Edit: Yeah I found it. Scott Peterson. His wife Laci Peterson went missing. Wonder if these jagoffs are related.

From what I've heard, Bolingbrook police and gov't officials are corrupt as hell.

The coroner who signed off on the initial cause of death being accidental should be investigated too.

3rd wife was crazy for even considering marrying this guy... 1 dead wife, ok, i don't think there's anything wrong with that...2 dead wives, i'd stay the hell away from this guy. Either he's bad luck or he's KILLING them.

3rd wife was the first murder victim. 4th wife was possibly the second.

LOL- he told officers when he was arrested "I should have returned those library books."

I was just about to post that. What a prick. Funny, but what a prick. 🙂

Nope. I guess IL passed a new "hearsay" evidence law. I hope it holds water.

"Prosecutors say they'll test a new Illinois hearsay law in the case, reports CBS News correspondent Cynthia Bowers. It allows murder victims' words to be used against their accused killers. Bowers says prosecutors plan to cite Savio's predictions to relatives that Peterson would to kill her."

Their chief is one of the best ones you can work for and Drew Peterson wasn't well liked in the department at all. Multiple officers were told to stay away from him when he was a Sgt. Corruption isn't the problem, its the fact that you had a Sgt, who knows how investigations work and how evidence is processed, commit two very horrid crimes.

He hasn't been convicted of anything yet. None of us know what evidence exists that makes him the killer. But, in usual ATOT fashion, he has already been convicted by a jury of geeks.

Only 20 posts and this thread has been up for almost two days. Glad that most people aren't interested in the media histrionics this time...

So...police officers knew that something was really bad about Peterson, but didn't bother investigating further, and were, told to stay away from him? By whom? The Chief?

Dead Wife was found in a dry bathtub with multiple bruises and a laceration on her head. Coroner ruled it an accidental drowning. After the exhumation (and an examination by a third-party) it was re-classified as a homocide.

Anyway, I'm just relaying what I heard from people who live in the area.

Also, I read a news article a few weeks (months?) ago that said that his current GF's father had banned her from seeing Peterson...'cuz the father's convinced he's a murderer.
