Dreams

Sorry if this is a repost, searched and didn't find anything on the topic.

How many of you know if you dream in color or black and white. I was thinking about this, I cannot remember..

My wife states she dreams in color and it's very vivid, even directly after a dream I cannot remember

I've heard the question before, but the idea of dreaming in black-and-white sounds pretty bizarre. (I dream in color.)

I recall reading a study that compared the answer to this question with age, and their conclusion was that people who dreamt in black-and-white were usually people who grew up watching black-and-white TVs. People who had grown up without TVs dreamed in color as did those who grew up with color TVs.

That's very interesting

I haven't been able to remember my dreams lately.. maybe 1 or 2 in the past year.

but they used to be either monochrome, or sometimes washed out color.
once in a blue moon it was vivid color.

I grew up with a color TV for the record 😉

it depends on how fvcked up i am

also reminds me of this song:
Better Man - Pearl Jam

waitin', watchin' the clock, it's four o'clock, it's got to stop
tell him, take no more, she practices her speech
as he opens the door, she rolls over...
pretends to sleep as he looks her over
she lies and says she's in love with him, can't find a better man...
she dreams in color, she dreams in red, can't find a better man...
can't find a better man
can't find a better man

I distinctively remember dreaming about a green herb as one of my props, so those who say we only dream in B&W is full of it.

Another myth: if you dream that you actually land from a long fall, you die in real life. In most of my dreams where I was falling endlessly I usually wake up just right before landing. There is one dream, however, that I actually landed. It was painful in my dream. I woke up right after that pouring sweat and my heart pounding like a jackhammer.

I'm fairly sure I dream in color.

I'm also fairly sure if I dreamed in black and white, I would have thought something was up....

At least after 24 years of life anyway.
