This may not belong here but I think it has more to do with politics than anything else. But I've been having this re-occuring dream for the past couple of years. I've talked to my gf, religious scholars, lodge brothers and others about it but no one can seem to put their hand on it.

Here is the dream:

The environment is a hot and dry desert. In this desert is a large, roof-less adobe-like structure with a view to the heavens. But it's mid-day and the sun is blazing. In the distant east, approximately 60 degrees above the horizon are the Eyes. The adobe-like structure is called the "House of Origin." In the inner chamber is a regal chair. In the chair sits a blind man (named Man) with blindfold on. On the right shoulder of naked, blind Man sits an eagle named "Majestic." The Majestic eagle is the only person that can communicate to Man. At 315 degrees of Man stands the messenger of the eyes. He is the Great Dragon and he extolls the virtues of stability and partnership(with the Eye) and the great and good that can come of it. At 45 degrees stands the Brazen Serpent. The Brazen Serpent preaches the virtues of independence and liberation. As the beasts debate the options, the Majestic Eagle passes onto Man (I forgot the finer details of each argument). All of a sudden, with a nod from each, the Majestic Eagle and Brazen Serpent attack the Great Dragon. The Eagle takes flight and does a vertical dive into the Dragon's cranium. The Brazen Serpent slithers around the body of the Dragon before squeezing him. The Great Dragon lets out a thunderous cry rips a huge chunk off the Serpent, injuring him. The fight lasts a few hours but the Great Dragon is eventually destroyed. Minutes later, the clear sky thunders and rain falls. The rain then stops, but the thunder and gray sky remains. After a while, the Brazen Serpent acknowledges his wounds and, with the Majestic Eagle, directs Man towards the Eye.

Dream Over.

Anyone care to explain this?

The subconscious does not craft out dreams with such precision normally... frames of reference are much too precise ... degrees of arc and all... perhaps it is not a dream but an analogy that your conscious carves out..

those numbers were rough estimates of what I thought I was seeing. But the conversation, although completely lost on my mind, were concrete.

Being a psychiatrist of which I am not, I think only you can fully interpret your dream. As I read the description I agree with the second post that the descriptions and concepts/ideals attributed to your symbols are too precise and too intricate. Perhaps the symbols in your dream i.e. eagle, dragon, etc have evolved to and your conscious self has reaffirmed and refined these symbols.
First, thing that strikes me is the idea of a blind naked man wearing a blindfold. Why does he need a blindfold? Why would he care about the Eye in the sky? Is the man not seeing the goal er ? eye. All the symbols want him to see the eye but if the man is blind what is the point?

You have given meaning to these symbols so obliviously they mean something to you. For example there is conflict between wanting to be free and independent and the desire to be in a stable if somewhat codependent relationship with the person ? umm eagle - the only thing in the world that understands you. Perhaps there is another person in your life that wants you to see a goal, maybe it?s someone who has already achieved that goal i.e. career path.
There is a lot of conflict. The dragon is slain.

Cliff note version of my interpretation of your dream:

Blind man ? you
Eagle ? girlfriend
Serpent ? best friend in college or a similar-aged relative i.e. brother/cousin
Dragon ? your dad
Eye ? being a doctor or some other profession ? 90% chance it?s the same as your dad?s.

Did I win?
