Dreammcast rc5?

Someone got linux running on the dreamcast.. .. Anyone willing to run the client on theirs?

When you consider that the console systems have pretty poor integer performance, and quite decent FPU performance, you would probably get better results running SETI rather than RC5.. 😉

I'll give it a shot, what do I do, just burn those files and the linux rc5 client to a cd? or cdrw?

actually will you try RC5 on their I am interested in how it would work...and yes I think if you copy the files onto the disk aswell it should work

I think I am missing something, I copied the three files to a cdrw first and the DC didnt read it, so I copied them to a cdr and the DC came to an audio disc screen, didnt get linux running 🙁

Maybe I'm missing something here, but how would you get the files off of the DC to dump them?

Er. You're going to need a dnetc client that's written for that platform, the x86, sparc, or alpha ones won't work.
