Dreamhost account expiring

Been using Dreamhost for a year now with some small Gallery and Wordpress pages as well as a site for a small business. I don't think they are necessarily a "fast" host most of the time, but they get the job done. I have until the 10th to figure out if I should switch to another host or pay up the $120 for another year.

Anyone tell me the ancient secret to getting this cheaper, or point me to a nice webhost I can begin researching?

(Man I hate when I wait till the last minute.)

Thanks! -Adam

want a coupon code? if so, how do you pay for your plan (i.e. per month, year, etc.)

I use NearlyFreeSpeech You only pay for what you use and they support just about everything. Heard their tech support is awesome ( have not had to use it yet ) my Wordpress has been humming along just fine using them. You deposit money into your account and then they deduct your usage. Here are the fees:

Data Transfers (Bandwidth): $1.00 per gigabyte
Disk Space (Storage): $0.01 per megabyte-month

It is friggen dirt cheap for a personal website.

It's currently setup for by year.

---------------

to Clarify, I have LARGE galleries I'm hosting. Well large compared to some web host's space offerings. I have a couple of gigs of photos uploaded at any given time. I just uploaded another gig from a family vacation the other day. so I would like say 5-10 GB of storage.

netfirms has been great for me since my Dreamhost account expired about a month ago. I like their backend better than Dreamhost's too.

I'm hosting more than 3 domains... can I use the $10 deal for two accounts?

Funny, my dreamhost is ending soon as well, in 4 days :) I went ahead with Telnap, it's run by one our AT memebers. So far everything has been great, A+ support and price is great, prob. not able to beat netfirms price, but you can try and haggle with him :)

You can't, you can only enter it for your original order, that's the whole point of their business model.
