Actually, it says it's $34.95

Is $46 after shipping?

This is pretty hot. I bought mine at Babbage's for $59 used.

Might want to mention that these are refurbs, and not even sega authorizedrefurbs(whatever that means):

This is a returnBuy open-box product that has been tested by ReturnBuy's trained Value-Analysts[TM] to be fully functional according to ReturnBuy's rigorous inspection methods.

I would not buy from returnbuy their feedback is horrible! I have seen many horror stories because of them and their other 2 companies!

Can't believe people are still buying DCs. Nice console and had potential but unfortunately Sega scrapped it.

GR8MadMax, if you were an unscrupulous character like myself;), and liked sega games, you'd buy a Dreamcast.

Exactly. There are some 300 DC games out there that they are practically giving away, and I'm sure you could find a few that would interest you.

I bought a laptop from these guys off ebay. Everything was fine. They're communication is kinda slow, but they do sell alot of stuff so I would understand that they would be busy.

Some answers:

1. Yes you can play VCD's on Dreamcast if you get a VCD player software, you can mail order the software or you can download it from alt.binaries.dreamcast or alt.binaries.cd.image.dreamcast.

2. if you wanted to get a system with hundreds of titles and you were unscrupulous and wanted to do it for cheap, well see above.

3. It's cheap.

<< What games are good for dreamcast? How do the graphics compare to PS2? >>

Graphics wise its pretty much on par with PS2.

Good games that I like personally:

RPG's:
Skies of Arcadia (good way to kill 50 hours+)

FPS:
Quake 3
Unreal Tournament

Fighting:
Dead or Alive 2 (the uh... foreground... bounces and jiggles just as well as the X-Box version)

Don't forget there's a boat load of homebrew stuff that all you need is a CD burner to run:
DC-Doom (plays Doom, Doom II, Ultimate, etc.)
Quake 1
Wolfenstien 3D
Nes emulators
SNES emulators
and lots more.
A place to get most of the above.

Why I like my Dreamcast.....

I have EVERY STINKING Atari 2600 game ever made on ONE SINGLE CD... over 1000 games. I LOVE IT! It's called Stella 2600...

I also have damn near EVERY SEGA GENESIS GAME on one CD...

I could go on... Dreamcasts are pretty damn cool.
