Dreamcast Games?

Well I have a dreamcast layin around and I was just wonder if anyone knows a good RPG's for it.

Shenmue- Great RPG

Phantasy Star Online (you can play offline too)
Grandia II
Skies of Arcadia

Along with Shenmue, those are pretty much the only RPGs on the Dreamcast.

Not sure if it is a great deal but EBgames has had a special going for a while where you can get 15 DC games for $50. It's been posted in the hotdeals section. I know the games are available through other shady means but in case you were looking to purchase them online it might be something to look into. I don't have any consoles and never really looked into game prices for them so this may be a horrible deal for all I know.

Grandia was good, only one I played.

I wouldn't count Shenmue as an RPG. I'd count that as a piece of crap. One of the worst games I've ever played, so unless you really like Vending Machine Sims, skip it. Seriously, I played through to the end and couldn't believe I'd accomplished so little. I thought for sure I must have missed part of the game.

There are also Evolution and Evolution 2. I played 2 but wouldn't recommend it- get's too hard at the end.
Elemental Gimmick Gear is supposed to be a unique/unusual rpg, but I've never tried it.
Shenmue isn't a standard rpg, most say Grandia 2 and Skies are the way to go, as already mentioned

Evolution: The World of Sacred Device
Evolution 2: A Far off Promise
Elemental Gimmick Gear

There are some others as well, but it will have to wait until I get home for me to say 🙂

Skies of Arcadia - you like finding secrets and stuff, this is your game, big game

Grandia II - humorous, great story

Shenmue - lots of production value, great interaction/story

I have the second one for Xbox and thought it was a pretty good game. The story is pretty interesting. You get to do some fighting and other times you just press buttons when they show uyp on the screen, but it was a pretty good game.

I don't know how it compares to the first one though.
