Okay, I know I'm jumping on the bandwagon with another 800.com/mercata deal, but nobody had posted this one so I thought I would.

800.com has both the Sega Dreamcast and DC Sports package in stock. The Sports package, which normally retails for $170, came out to $142.98 (shipped) after the 20% MS Passport discount. Not wonderful, but if you have any coupons you could knock off another 10 or 20 dollars. The basic Dreamcast system with one controller and no games comes out to $126.98 before coupons.

I'm almost glad I don't have any coupons...I've been wanting a DC for a really long time, but I just don't have the money, especially after ordering that Toshiba SD2200 yesterday...time to go post in the Deal Addicts thread...

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure people used ebates in some of the other 800/passport deals.

Where is the DC Sports Package on the site? Everytime I try to goto DC Products it takes me to EBWorld.com, and coupons for 800.com aren't valid there :(

Alright, every single thread with one of these passport deals asks if you can combine it with Ebates! Well, according to the fine print at MSN, no you can't. BUT, I noticed that if you go through ebates to the site, the 20% off for passport shows up and there is no link to the fine print. So, I just hope it doesn't happen that the ebates comes through and the passport doesn't. If someone has had a confirmation, then please post it so people will stop asking!

I just bought the bundle using MS deal with EBworld and it came to $142.98 shipped. Not a steal, but not bad.

inyourdreams, I double checked my order status and you are right, they show the full amount. I called them and they said they show the full amount, but they only charge your credit card the discounted amount. They get a credit from MS and apply it before charging the credit card. They shipped the next day and its fedx. I should get it Monday.

There's a $30 of $150 for 800.com, plus the 20% passport thing. Free shipping @ 800.com until...Wed(?) also. Good deal...if only I hadn't just bought a DVD player and about 6 DVDs. :D

Question: I can't get any of the 800.com coupons to work. It doesn't matter which site I go from, they all come up with "page cannot be displayed." Am I doing something wrong?

Anyway, I thought 800.com coupons don't work at EBWorld. If so, I would use a 30 off of 150 coupon at buy.com this week. With free shipping, it should come out cheaper than the Passport discount. (That's if you buy the basic unit, of course.)

wje, thanks for the link, I did get the coupon working. Unfortunately, it only works for 800.com, not EBWorld, so I think buy.com is still the best deal right now.
