Sadly, its not going to happen ever. Sega was just bleeding money at that point and had to bail out of the console market.

 
dreamcast was nice machine... the graphics were very nice at the time and the visual memory card was a revolutionary concept. too bad it wasn't executed to its fullest potential...
 
If you actually read the article it says that IGN made all those mockups... Its only a rumor. Theres not so much as a photogragh of evidence right now.

We've assembled a few examples of what you might find in your hunt for proof that the Dreamcast 2 does exist. Don't expect the Internet evidence to look exactly as our mock ups. More than likely they will be in Japanese and potentially less sophisticated than what our crack team of experts have designed.
