Awesome. CD cover looks like Images and Words / awake era

And they are releasing the tracks as instrumentals. Its a sign they know peeps just want the music not the wining vocals

Same here, but I think we're probably in the minority on this. 😛

Anyways, DT rocks, will definitely be picking this up.

When I first heard Labrie I thought he sounded too childish... his voice was a little immature for my taste. But after listening to the 1st CD on their greatest hits over and over he grew on me too.

I now can't imagine listening to DT w/out him. Still... I will probably check this out.

Hhhmm, call me strange but I like DT's vocals. I'll be picking this one up for sure.

I don't mind his voice usually, but sometimes, it's just too over the top, too operatic and I think it takes away from the music. Plus, most people I try to introduce to DT, they don't like the vocals.

That's me!

i know... i can totally see the instrumentals going over better than the tracks with vocals. it will be more accessible to people that wouldnt like the singer. most people want DT for the music anyway so in their case they can do without vocals and still be loved.

Apparently the vocals on Pull Me Under are different. If you listen closely, they are similar, but the new mix sounds much more ballsy and raspy.

This. I was only able to find JlB's voice acceptable after listening to Opeth.

In for another ProgNation tour 🙂

I wonder if this was recorded with Petrucci's Mark V prototype. I'm REALLY glad he's not using Rectifiers anymore.

PS, I really hope they tour here in Chicago with Zappa Plays Zappa...
