I am finally getting my chance to see the smashing pumpkins in concert in october in pittsburg. They have been my favorite band since i was about 11 (24 now) so its a big deal for me....YAY! W00t!

It's been ages since I listened to their music. They had some good stuff on Siamese Dream and Adore. I only remember the tune to a handful of songs though.

You should listen to their new album, zeitgeist. For the most part its a throw back to the old days of Mellon Collie

I saw them at Purdue back in like 2001-2002 somewhere in there before they broke up. Show sucked.

I think old days for them is anything pre-Mellon Collie.

Well, i consider it the old days because it was my fav album, thatand becuase it was 12 years ago!

I saw them for my very first concert when I was 13 or 14 (I'm 28 now) years old. They played in Oxford, MS. The lead singer got pissed that people were taking pictures so he started bitching at the crowd. Someone then took off their shoe and threw it at his head. Corgan walked off stage and the show was over after only one short set.

Wow you need better dreams, any way they were my very first concert was SP in 1997 with Garbage opening at the Pyramid in Memphis, TN.
