Dreading or loving upcoming Christmas?

Dreading. After the solstice, it means the days will be getting longer, and bad times are coming. If I could freeze time now, it would be done. Ten hours of light is all you turkeys get! :^P

i'm going to love it this year. Money in the pocket, rent paid up. I even bought a couple xmas presents this year.

Damn, dude...all the HVAC guys I've known here and in CA made damned good money...wtf are you doing wrong?

I love Christmas season, except for the shopping part. I never know what to get anyone. Me and my sister usually group by for my parents and we're both at a loss as to what to get. Everything we think of we already did at some point.

Really looking forward to it. The flight to NZ should be a great way to try out the new United Polaris business class seats on a recently refurbished plane

I'm looking forward to it. Which is kind of crazy, I don't know why, I don't have any money for presents (*), and I'm not the biggest fan of turkey dinners. Maybe I'll get Chinese again this year, with no money. :|

(*) Yeah, I already bought my Christmas present, an HP gaming rig (i5-7400, GTX1060 3GB, 8GB DDR4) al Walmart in early Dec., from a lingering BF sale.

Gotta get my buddy something, he just helped me replace all of my brake light bulbs, 2/3 of them were burned out recently.

i am in between houses. my lease ends january 1, but i don't have a place to move yet. hoping to knock that out tomorrow, and then i'll feel much better.

The lack of daylight is actually what I hate the most about winter. I may be ginger but I still like having SOME day light. 😛 I go a week at a time without seeing any day light at times as the only time I'll see it is if I'm on a day off. If I'm working it does not really matter what shift I'm on, it's dark before work and dark after.
